UPDATE: Trailer Fire In Enchanted Hills
A one-car garage at the residence of Kirt Grubb, 11954 N. Camelot Trail East, Cromwell, was destroyed in a fire Saturday afternoon. The cause is undetermined.
Turkey Creek Fire Territory Fire Chief Mickey Scott reports the building, owned by Angie Stuckman, was fully engulfed when firefighters first arrived at the scene.
There was some damage to the north side of the mobile home, due to radiant heat, but no damage to the interior. A Ford truck, which had been inside the garage, sustained heat damage. The truck had been removed by the time firefighters arrived.
Damage has been estimated up to $15,000.
Turkey Creek Fire Territory reported a fire under control at approximately 4:52 p.m. today at 11954 North Camelot Trail East, Cromwell. The structure was located just off King Arthur’s Trail in Enchanted Hills.
What was initially reported as a mobile home on fire, appears to have been a garage next to the residence.
Sparta Township and North Webster fire departments responded with tankers to assist in extinguishing the fire.
