Cody M. Cousins, 24, of Warsaw, passed away at 9:23 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, in Michigan City.

He was born July 1, 1990, in New Orleans, La., to Ernest L. ‘Rusty’ Cousins and Dr. Wendy Melancon. He was a graduate of Springboro High School, Springboro, Ohio, and Purdue University Student.

He was a former Warsaw, and Lafayette, resident. Cody will be loved and missed by his family in Louisiana including, aunts, uncles, cousins and friend in Ohio and Indiana. We will remember him for his laughter and light in the world before the darkness fell.

Survivors include his parents; a sister: Savannah Cousins, Warsaw;and his maternal grandmother: Adeline Melancon, Morgan City, La.

Private services are scheduled. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is entrusted with arrangements.
