Goshen Soccer, XC Heading To State
GOSHEN – An exciting fall sports season for Goshen High School will culminate this weekend with state finals appearances for two of its boys sports.
The boys soccer team will be competing in the Class 2-A state finals this Saturday, Nov. 1, versus Brebeuf Jesuit. The game will be held at Michael A. Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium at IUPUI at 3:30 p.m. Admission is $10 per person and parking at IUPUI is $5. The address for the stadium is 1001 W. New York Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46202. Pre-sale tickets are available in the Goshen High School athletic office Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and also Friday from 7:30 a.m. to noon. Please enter Door C at the high school.
Goshen will offer a pep bus to the soccer match for any GHS student. The bus will leave door M of the high school Saturday at 11 a.m. Please stop by or call the GHS athletic office at 533-0652 for more information.
The boys cross country team will be competing in the state finals this Saturday, Nov. 1. The race will be held at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course at the Wabash Valley Sports Center beginning at 1:45 p.m. Admission is $8 per person and ticket gates open at 9 a.m.

The administration at Terre Haute North High School, host of the cross country state finals, strongly encourages avoiding Interstate I-70 from any direction when traveling to the State Finals.
