Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
7:47 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, North CR 300W, south of West CR 500N, Warsaw. Driver: Aimee M. Hagg, 40, North Bobwhite Drive, Warsaw. Deer hit. Damage up to $5,000.
6:51 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, Old Road 30E and CR 100N, Warsaw. Driver: Angela L. Schultz, 37, South Sunrise Circle, Warsaw. Deer hit. Damage up to $2,500.
6:36 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, South SR 13 and East CR 150S, Pierceton. Driver: Mia D. Sindelar, 28, EMS B34 Lane, Warsaw. Deer hit. Damage up to $5,000.
4:10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, North CR 425W north of West CR 900N, Leesburg. Driver: Clell A. Rowe, 52, West CR 800S, Claypool. Deer hit. Damage up to $5,000.
12:47 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, East Armstrong Road, west of North CR 75E, Leesburg. Driver: Ronald W. Dembrowski, 71, West 51st Place, Gary. Dembrowski passed out while driving causing his vehicle to go off the road across an alfalfa field and hit an outbuilding at the residence of Brian A. Zehring. Dembrowski was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital complaining of chest pain. Damage up to $50,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
12:48 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, Lynn Street east of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Benjamin W. Liniger, 63, East CR 1150N, Milford and Esmeralda Alvarado-Cruz, 19, North Maple Avenue, Warsaw. Liniger was backing from a parking space and struck the Alvarado-Cruz vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
12:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, Packerton Road and East CR 400S, Winona Lake. Drivers: Daniel A. Zambrano, 37, Ranch Road, Warsaw and Carol B. Lauster, 56, West Hoppus Road, Warsaw. Zambrano thought the intersection was a three-way stop and drove in front of the Lauster vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
