Electronics Clean Up A Joint Effort
Dispose of your electronics safely and legally and help two organizations at the same time. Lakeland Kiwanis Club and Wawasee High School Key Club are combining for a community service project, a fall electronics clean up, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1.
Recycling of all electronics will be available. Recycled free will be laptop and desktop computers, printers, scanners, fax machines, DVD players, VCR players, cellphones, wires, old battery backups and other electronics. For a small fee TVs and computer monitors will be recycled. No appliances will be accepted.
All hard drives and data will be destroyed by a trained, insured computer technician. Personal information is guaranteed to be safely destroyed by an Indiana Department of Environmental Management trained professional.
Drop off items at either the parking lot of the high school or the parking lot of the North Webster Community Center. Large lots can have pickup arranged by calling (574) 244-2120.
