Richard “Dick” and Sharon Hollar will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, Oct. 17.

Richard Lee Hollar and the former Sharon Jo Sparks were married Oct. 17, 1964, at the Etna Green Church of Christ by Ora Eugene Neyhart, minister of the church.

Dick retired from PolyOne, Warsaw, and Sharon retired from ‘the PAPER’ and the Bourbon News-Mirror.

They have two children: Troy (Theresa) Hollar, Waynetown; and Amber Jo Hollar, Etna Green.

They also have five grandchildren.
