According to Kosciusko County Health Department Administrator Bob Weaver, Golden Corral in Warsaw is still working on plumbing problems that closed the restaurant earlier this year.

It is still unknown exactly when the restaurant will reopen, but Weaver expects he will be notified once repairs are completed. After passing an inspection, the restaurant would be able to reopen.

We reported in July that plumbing and wastewater issues, likely a due to the building being built on former wetlands, forced Weaver to close the restaurant. “There’s no danger (of Golden Corral) sinking,” Weaver said in July. “But the plumbing in the ground is sinking and that has to be fixed before they can re-open.”
