The 2014 Warsaw Downtown Spooktacular date has been set for Friday, Oct. 24.

Registration for the costume contest will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the courthouse lawn with trick-or-treating at businesses downtown from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

To close out the evening, costume judging will begin at 7 p.m. on the courthouse lawn.

Spooktacular is sponsored by Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw Community Development Corporation, Warsaw Breakfast Optimist, Bowen Center, Downtown Merchants and others.

To accommodate the event, Center Street from Lake Street to Indiana Street and Buffalo Street from Market Street to Main Street will be closed from 3-9 p.m. Kemrad will be stationed near the corner of Buffalo and Main and Buffalo and Market to help children cross streets.
