Stutzman Issues 9/11 Statement
U.S. Congressman Marlin Stutzman issued the following statement on the 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
“On this anniversary of the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, we remember the loved ones we lost and continue to pray for their families. May we never forget the events of that day and the lessons we learned. We must also remember the valor and sacrifice of all the brave men and women who proudly serve this country and fight to keep us free.
“With the recent rise of ISIS, we have again seen the complete barbarity and brutal nature of an enemy who only seeks to oppress, dictate, and destroy. We must remain vigilant in the face of new threats and use all resources necessary to protect the homeland and defend our allies.
“Going forward, it is important to recognize that our greatest strength has always been the unity of the American people. As one nation we can avert any threat, defeat any foe, and keep the United States the land of the free and the home of the brave.”
