AWL’s Fur Ball Sept. 20 In Warsaw
The eighth annual Fur Ball will be at 6 p.m. Sept. 20, at Toyota of Warsaw.
This event is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Animal Welfare League. The announcement of plans for a new animal shelter will take place. Fur Ball is also the second annual dog show in which the audience gets to vote for the best pet.
Fur Ball has grown in fun and stature since it began. Casual or chic attire fits the mood of this event where everyone is comfortable. There will be food, beverages, and a silent auction with very special and interesting items. Attendees can have fun by placing bids, outbidding neighbors, and maybe take home a gem. The evening will be entertaining with the annual Warsminster Dog Show in which pets that have been adopted from the shelter are entered in a competition, and the audience gets to pick the winning pet. The stories are heartwarming and interesting.
A live auction will top the event. Items include: Colts tickets, a helicopter ride to and from Indianapolis, with a chauffeur waiting to escort people to dinner at Cerulean restaurant in downtown Indianapolis, a night in Chicago, a trip to the Westminster Dog Agility show at Madison Square Garden, New York City, and some custom-made surprises.
