NWS Issues Hazardous Weather Outlook, Flood Watch
The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for portions of northern Indiana, including Kosciusko County and some neighboring counties, southwest lower Michigan and northwest Ohio. Thunderstorms are expected in these regions through the rest of the day and into the night.
NWS is projecting heavy rainfall, one to three inches, and the possibility of damaging winds. Isolated tornadoes may be possible as well.
A flood watch has also been issued for northern Indiana. The watch will continue through the afternoon and early evening. Rainfall is expected to taper off as a cold front moves into the area later tonight.
The flood watch will be in effect until 8 p.m. Updates will be provide if any new information develops.
