Nisly Endorsed by Bremen Representative
Warsaw – Curt Nisly, the Republican candidate for State Representative in District 22, has earned the endorsement of neighboring lawmaker, State Representative Tim Harman (R) – Bremen. In Rep. Harman’s own words:
“Curt Nisly is a perfect fit for his district. He’s a man of faith, a conservative, a Republican and a family man who is firmly pro-life. But having talked to him at length about the job of a state representative, Curt is keenly aware that as a newcomer his primary role is to listen, learn, and represent the values of Kosciusko and Elkhart counties – and I am confident he will do just that. However, Curt has proven that he’s not afraid to take on Indianapolis and will work hard for his district, which I like. That’s why I am proudly supporting Curt Nisly for state representative.”
Upon learning of his endorsement, candidate Nisly released the following statement:
“I am honored to have the support of neighboring State Representative, Tim Harman. Together, I hope to work with Representative Harman and other legislators in the General Assembly on a number of issues such as job growth, job retention, closing the skills gap, pro-growth economic policies, education, and the like.”
“Obviously, anyone in their first-term is low in seniority, but I am eager to learn the legislative process and represent Kosciusko and Elkhart counties. I plan on working hard, mastering the issues and sincerely listening to my constituents in order to become an effective legislator and representative.”
Nisly is running in the Nov. 4 general election as the Republican nominee for State Representative in District 22 which is comprised of northern Kosciusko and southern Elkhart Counties including the towns of Warsaw, Nappanee, New Paris, Milford, Syracuse, North Webster, Leesburg, Mentone and Etna Green.
