Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Sunday, Aug. 31, 8:46 p.m. Bianca Prater reported criminal mischief to her yard, made by an unknown vehicle, in the 5800 block of South 450 West, Claypool.
- Sunday, Aug. 31, 8:17 a.m. Richard Davis reported criminal mischief to his yard, made by an unknown vehicle, in the 5600 block of West 600 South, Claypool.
- Sunday, Aug. 31, 5:26 a.m. A battery was reported in the 100 block of West Noah Street, Claypool.
- Sunday, Aug. 31, 5:16 a.m. A male subject called emergency services stating he had cut himself in a suicide attempt. Police and medics responded to the 1800 block of Sue Avenue, Warsaw.
- Saturday, Aug. 30, 10:16 a.m. Jeffrey Rohrer reported criminal mischief to his yard, made by an unknown vehicle, in the 5400 block of West 600 South, Claypool.
- Friday, Aug. 29, 6:57 p.m. An Etna Green woman reported being harassed over the telephone by an ex-boyfriend.
- Friday, Aug. 29, 4:47 p.m. An officer was called to the 3300 block of East Pleasant Grove Dr., Warsaw, in response to an animal cruelty case. A knife was used to torture and/or mutilate an animal.
- Friday, Aug. 29, 4:28 p.m. Police were called to the 1600 block of East 200 North, Warsaw, for a reported battery.
- Friday, Aug. 29, 12:28 p.m. Melody Morris reported a burglary to a residence in the 100 block of EMS B63 Ln., Warsaw. A laptop computer and a power washer were reported missing.
North Webster Police Department
Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Sunday, Aug. 31, 3:48 a.m. Police were called to Stimmelators in reference to a fight in progress. Benjamin Lipp, 40, of Winona Lake, was arrested for disorderly conduct and booked in the Kosciusko County Jail.
Syracuse Police Department
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Sunday, Aug. 31, 4:05 p.m. Mark Sullivan reported a license plate stolen in the 200 block of East Pickwick Drive.
- Sunday, Aug. 31, 9:35 a.m. A domestic battery reportedly occurred in the presence of a minor child in the 100 block of East County Line Road.
Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Monday, Sept. 1, 8:48 a.m. Joaquin Acuahuitl, 20, of Peoria, Ill., was stopped in the 400 block of North Park Avenue. It was determined he was driving without a valid driver’s license. The vehicle was towed.
- Monday, Sept. 1, 2:05 a.m. Floyd Patterson reported the theft of a mo-ped from the 800 block of Carrington Boulevard.
- Sunday, Aug. 31, 8:15 p.m. A wallet was found in the 2100 block of East Fort Wayne Street and turned in at the Warsaw Police Department.
- Sunday, Aug. 31, 7:01 p.m. Christa Manahan reported the theft of a bicycle from Pike Lake Beach.
- Sunday, Aug. 31, 11:22 a.m. Officers were called to Kuder Estates where a domestic dispute was reported. Raghu V. Kadipireddy and Sindhuja Veerannagari were both arrested for domestic battery.
- Sunday, Aug. 31, 11:08 a.m. Officers were called to the 500 block of Crestlane Drive where a female juvenile has continuously been incorrigible with her mother. Police filed a report for probation.
- Sunday, Aug. 31, 6 a.m. Police were notified when an elderly woman staying at the Comfort Inn with her husband checked out of the hotel. The woman was seen with severe bruising to her eyes and head.
- Saturday, Aug. 30, 11:22 p.m. Police served a warrant in the 1400 block of West Lake Street. Rick L. Kensinger, 33, of Mentone, was arrested.
- Saturday, Aug. 30, 11:04 p.m. Police served a warrant in the 2500 block of East Center Street. Rhonda Sue Sanchez, 40, of Warsaw, was arrested.
- Saturday, Aug. 30, 1:20 p.m. Police served a warrant in the 1700 block of East Center Street. Roy D. Slater, 33, of Warsaw, was arrested.
- Saturday, Aug. 30, 10:55 a.m. Police served a warrant in the 500 block of West Winona Avenue. Chad Michael King, 41, of Warsaw, was arrested.
- Saturday, Aug. 30, 12:19 a.m. Police investigated two female subjects for disorderly conduct in the 1400 block of East Smith Street, Warsaw.
- Friday, Aug. 29, 8 p.m. Stephen Bendix reported a theft of a license plate from the 100 block of Fairlane Drive, Warsaw.
