UPDATE: Car Vs. Motorcyle In Warsaw
UPDATE: Zackary Bradley, 25, of Warsaw, escaped serious injury Sunday when a car pulled into the path of his motorcycle in Warsaw.
It happened at 4:18 p.m. at North Harrison and East Fort Wayne streets near the Warsaw Police Department.
According to the WPD accident report, Bradley was southbound on Harrison when a car, driven by Janice Engelberth, 73, also of Warsaw, pulled from East Fort Wayne Street directly into his path. Bradley did not have enough time to avoid the collision, so he laid the motorcycle down just before impact. When he hit the car, Bradley was thrown over the top of the car and landed on the road.
Bradley was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for minor cuts and bruises to one of his legs.
Engelberth told police she stopped at the intersection, but failed to see the motorcycle approaching.
BREAKING: Multi-Township EMS, Warsaw Fire and Warsaw Police are en route to a car vs. motorcycle accident at the intersection of East Fort Wayne and North Harrison streets.
Initial call reports indicate two people on the ground, one with a possible leg injury.
