Plan Commission To Review Comprehensive Plan
On Monday, Warsaw Plan Commission will review the latest draft of the city’s comprehensive plan. Revisions and fine-tuning of the 74-page plan began in February.
Referred to as the “road map for future growth in Warsaw,” the comprehensive plan is a detailed look at projects and programs involving commercial, residential and transportation that city leaders now and in the future will refer to. Its purpose is to bring uniformity to the community and provide the best uses for property as time and even technology progresses.
Warsaw’s last comprehensive plan was completed in 1998. Bradley Johnson of Ground Rules completed the latest plan at a price tag of $50,750. To see the latest draft, click HERE.
Monday’s meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the city hall meeting room. It is open to the public. The agenda also includes discussion on fences and accessory buildings in the zoning ordinance.
