WINONA LAKE – Alexis Manwaring led the way to a win for the Warsaw girls golf team Thursday.

Manwaring fired a nine-hole total of 40 to pace her team past Bremen in action at the Stonehenge Golf Club.

The host Tigers shot 194, while the Lions finished at 207.

Aarshia Jain came in with a 48 and Maddie Graham a 49 for Warsaw, which improved to 2-1 on the season.

Kristen Watson and Page Desenberg each shot 57 for the hosts.

Morgan Fuentes shot a 51 in junior varsity play for Warsaw.

Warsaw will compete in the East Noble Invitational Saturday at Noble Hawk.
