Roque Calvo, 88, of Ligonier, Ind., passed away on June 24, 2014, at home.

He was born on March 26, 1930, in Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango, Mexico, to Raymundo Calvo and Luisa Salazar. He married Maria A. Mena in Mexico.

Mr. Calvo is survived by his wife; his children: Jesus, Alejandro, Jorge, Abel, Roque, Jr., Jose Luis, Armando, Carmela, Conchita, Rafa and Lulu; 42 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren. 4 Brothers and a sister also survive. He was preceded in death by 2 children, Ofelia and Javier.

Mr. Calvo was a retired machine operator. He enjoyed remodeling his home, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation with the family will be from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday June 27, at Yeager Funeral Home. There will be a mass scheduled in Mexico.
