NW Battles to Advance in Burger Wars
Some have been closely following the delectable competition that is the Burger Wars. In May, a competition was held locally to find the best burger in Kosciusko County. The votes came in, and the North Webster American Legion Post 253 was voted the tops.
We’ve received reports that North Webster Legion is currently neck-and-neck with The View Tavern in South Bend in the first round of the regional finals. With just a half hour left for voting, it’s anybody’s game.
To cast a vote for the Legion’s Hoe Burger, visit bitly.com/votehoeburger or koscvb.org/burgerwars.
At time of posting, the votes are as follows:
Octave Grill (Chesterton – Porter) with 2190 votes vs. Riegling’s Copper Top (Wolcottville – LaGrange) with 2515 votes
Franklin House (Valparaiso – Porter) with 2270 votes vs. Flippin’ Cow (Elkhart) with 2361 votes
The Lakehouse Grille (Culver – Marshall) with 2522 votes vs Shoreline Brewery (Michigan City – LaPorte) with 2395 votes
The View Tavern (South Bend – St. Joesph) with 2654 votes vs. American Legion Post 253 (North Webster – Kosciusko) with 2588 votes.
Voting for round one ends at noon today. There will be two more rounds, and the Best Burger in Northern Indiana will be announced on July 7.
