WABASH – Perennial power Northfield took care of Whitko in conference baseball action Monday night.

The host Norsemen posted an 11-2 home win in the Three Rivers Conference game.

Northfield improves to 10-8 overall and 3-1 in league play. Whitko drops to 14-7 and 2-2.

Tanner Gaff allowed six runs in four innings to take the pitching loss. He also had a hit for the Wildcats.

Tanner Hughes had a double and an RBI for Whitko. Landen Goff had a double and Avery Robbins and Ethan Nicodemus each had a hit and scored a run. Zach Snep had a hit and an RBI.

Whitko returns to acton at Wabash on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
