Mary Pauline Whitcraft
Mary Pauline Whitcraft, 95, of Winona Lake, Ind., passed away at 12:10 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, in Grace Village Healthcare, Winona Lake.
She was born April 20, 1919, in Lancaster County, Penn., to Adam and Gertrude (Doster) Redcay. On Jan. 1, 1940, she married Reverend John M. Whitcraft. He preceded her in death.
Mary was a homemaker, pastor’s wife and was a hostess at Hardee’s Restaurant from 1990-1999.
She is survived by two sons: Jim (Jane) Whitcraft, Hoagland, Ind.; Scott (Crystal) Whitcraft, Wausau, Wis.; three daughters: Brenda (Chuck) Petry, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Faye (Larry) Jagger, Columbia City, Ind.; Pam (Duane) Metzger, Leesburg, Ind.; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a sister: Martha (Harold) Stauffer, Lancaster; and a sister-in-law: Margaret P. Whitcraft, Lititz, Penn.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 16, at grace Village Chapel, 337 Grace Village Dr., Winona Lake. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 16, at the funeral chapel with Pastor David Wagner officiating. Private burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester. Arrangements are entrusted to McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 W., North Manchester.
