Wayne Frame
Wayne Frame, 96, of Ligonier, Ind., passed away peacefully at 2:35 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Avalon Village in Ligonier.
He was born on July 4, 1917, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to George Edward and Pauline (Farra) Frame. He married Margaret Ellen Westrick on April 24, 1943, in Chicago, Ill.; she preceded him in death. Mr. Frame then married Helen Seniff in 1998; she preceded him in death.
Wayne graduated in 1936 from Central Catholic High School. He went on to serve his country honorably during World War II in the Navy. He was discharged in 1945. Mr. Frame worked for I. T. T. and retired after 39 years of service in 1979.
He is survived by six children: Lowell (Sheri) Frame, Carmel, Ind.; Neil (Marie) Frame of Golden, Colo.; Richard (Anita) Frame, Fort Wayne; Toni (Charles) Thompson, Chardon, Ohio; Susan Saunders, Ann Arbor, Mich.; Susan Mayberry, Syracuse, Ind.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 9, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway S., Ligonier. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at the funeral home with Pastor Phil Schamehorn officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier.
