Anna Regier, 87, of Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, Ind., passed away at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Grace Village Health Care.

She was born on May 17, 1926, in Meade, Kan., to Peter J. Rempel and Elizabeth (Classen) Rempel. On Nov. 2, 1945, she was married to Edward W. Regier, who preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 1979.

She was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 22 years where she was a attended Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, and later Warsaw Wesleyan Church. Anna and her husband Ed were the the former owners and operators of self service laundromats in Hutchinson, Kansas for 23 years, retiring in 1982.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters: Beverly (Michael) Deck, Winona Lake, Ind.; Geneva Wynn, Warsaw, Ind.; son: Melvin (Cindy) Regier, Winona Lake; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Tim Sprankle. A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, at Fairlawn Burial Park and Mausoleum in Hutchinson.
