WARSAW – If you haven’t made Mother’s Day plans yet, The Wagon Wheel Theatre has you covered.

On Friday, May 9, the Wagon Wheel hosts Aaron Tippin, Collin Raye, and the Kentucky Headhunters who collectively have charted over 100 Billboard Hot Country Songs, including seven number one hits and multiple Grammy and ACM awards. The event is called “An Acoustic Evening with Aaron Tippin, Collin Raye, and The Kentucky Headhunters” and all three will perform two shows, 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Then, on Sunday, May 11, the Wagon Wheel Theatre hosts the Symphony of the Lakes as they perform a Mother’s Day chamber concert entitled; “Bach, Brass & Blend.”

The concert will feature four different performing ensembles: The Symphony’s Woodwind quintet will be performing a collection of entertaining and energetic Hungarian Dances composed by the lesser known Hungarian composer Ferenc Farakas. The Brass Quintet will also be performing including the works by the famous musical theatre writing duo Rodgers and Hammerstein as well as Henry Mancini featuring The Pink Panther.

Three of the newest members of the violin section of the orchestra will join Maestro Thomas Stirling in a performance of Telemann’s Violin Quartet in G Major. Last, but certainly not least, several members of the string section of the Symphony will perform one of the greatest early orchestral chamber pieces ever written – Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 by Johann Sebastian Bach.

There are options for musical loving mothers of all tastes. The Symphony of the Lakes announces that all tickets for moms and children 12 and under are free. Other ticket prices are $8 for students ages 13 through college, and only $12 for Adults.
