To help celebrate Earth Week, the city of Warsaw Department of Public Works has scheduled compost give-aways for the following Saturdays: April 26, May 3, May 10, May 17 and May 24.

The public is invited to bring trailers, dump trucks, pickup trucks and/or small containers between 8 a.m. and noon to West Center Street, just inside Boggs Industrial Park. If there is inclement weather, the dates may be extended.

The city will also continue leaf pick-up April 21-25 and April 28 to May 2. Leaves need to be at the curb, not in the street, free of trash and sticks, and will be picked up on normally scheduled trash days.
