New Hope FBC Hosts Musical Evening
Come to the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, for an evening of music as the Stout family children perform a variety of musical numbers from various composers including Handel, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Lecouna and others.
Musical styles will range from the rhythmically strict dances of Handel to the fiery romanticism of Rachmaninoff’s “Bell’s of Moscow” to the catchy beats of Gershwin. Performances will be on the piano and the violin. All the Stout family children have been playing since they were 5-years old and enjoy sharing their music with others.
Levi and Nathaniel are Bible quizzers for the Free Methodist Church and are holding this concert to raise funds for a missions trip to Kenya, Africa. They will be traveling with a team to bring the word of God to the students of Nairobi’s schools by establishing FM quizzing in the schools. Bible quizzing is a creative and effective way to encourage children to memorize the word of God so it then can impact their lives. Donations for the trip will be accepted at the concert.
