Water Available For Milford Residents
As first reported by StaceyPageOnline.com last night, Milford residents remain under a boil order today while the utilities department works to repair a water main break.
Milford Utilities Superintendent Randy Veach said the order is in effect until further notice.
Residents are requested to boil water before consuming it. At Milford Town Hall today, local residents may also acquire one case of bottled water per household.
At Milford School, according to principal Cindy Kaiser, water bottles and jugs/cups were brought into the classrooms and hallways to assure the students have safe drinking water. All drinking fountains have been covered to prevent usage.
The Indiana State Department of Health advises water for consumption purposes should be brought to a full boil for at least 5 minutes. For more information, click HERE.
