Tippe Downs Offers Public First Look
On Saturday, Tippe Downs welcomed the public during an open house event. The senior living residential development allowed the public to see their first glimpses of the clubhouse, complete with a heated pool, billiards, ping pong, shuffle board and gym, as well as several of the housing options available to seniors.
Phase I of Tippe Downs is still underway on approximately 78 acres on CR 300 North, Warsaw. According to Ashley Puckett, Kosciusko County regional director for Tippe Downs, the project is anticipated to take up to 4 years to complete.
A total of 72 units will be available at the completion of phase one and a total of 288 units are to be available by the conclusion of the building project.
Housing will include homes, duplexes and apartments for seniors ages 55 and older to move into. Initially, rental homes will be open for all ages though Puckett noted it is the goal to have only seniors residing in the houses eventually. Units are available for move in this week and those interested may apply online HERE.
Housing is estimated to range from $695 per month to $1,250 per month depending on the size of the unit rented. For further information about housing units and amenities (see related).
Tippe Downs is being built by Construction-Management & Design Inc., of Plymouth. It is the same builder of Briar Ridge apartments and residential housing located further north along North Sheldon Drive, Warsaw. The property is owned by LaPorte Equities LLC.
