Confessed Heroin Dealer Arrested
A $10,000 surety bond has been set for a Claypool woman who allegedly admitted to dealing heroin.
Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers say they received an anonymous tip Wednesday that Teresa Lavone Lambert, 48, was selling heroin out of her home at Beaver Dam Lake. Officers went to the home, at 7420 W. Bensart Dr., at approximately 2 p.m. yesterday and met with Lambert.
According to a press release, Lambert confessed to selling heroin. Deputies subsequently located 15 small bags of individually packaged heroin, along with approximately $800 in cash at the home. Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers estimated the prepackaged bags of the drug currently have a street value of approximately $3,000.
Lambert was arrested and preliminarily charged with felony dealing a Schedule I controlled substance/narcotic (heroin).
