Dylan Arnold and Caylyne DeGood

Scott and Mary DeGood, Syracuse, announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Caylyne Rene DeGood, to Dr. Dylan Cahill Arnold, son of Robert Arnold and Barbara Ewell, and J. Parks and Andria Atkinson, all of Virginia Beach, Va.

Caylyne is a 2003 graduate of Wawasee High School and received her bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and biology from Butler University in 2007 and master’s degree in biology from Purdue University in 2008.

Dylan is a 2004 graduate from Ocean Lakes High School of Virginia Beach and received his bachelor’s degree in cognitive science from the University of Virginia in 2008. Both received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012 and are currently both physician residents in emergency medicine at the Medical College of Georgia, Georgia Regents Medical Center, in Augusta, Ga. Dylan, a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, will serve as a military physician upon completion of residency in 2015.

The two are looking forward to a coastal station in the future. An August 2014 wedding is planned in Syracuse.
