The Warsaw Community High School Instrumental Music Department will host the eighth annual Warsaw Winter Percussion Invitational in the WCHS Tiger Den on Saturday, March 8.

Twenty-six high school drum lines and percussion ensembles from across Indiana and Illinois will compete in seven different classifications beginning at 1 p.m. and concluding with an awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m.The WCHS Winter Percussion Ensemble will perform at 4:15 p.m. WCHS has qualified for Indiana Percussion State Finals 17 years in a row. WCHS has been five-time State Champions (1997, 2001, 2005, 2012, and 2013) while earning the State Silver Medal five times and the State Bronze Medal four times.

Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and college students (with a student ID), $3 for students K-12 and free for children 5 and under. Spectators will be directed to park in the Performing Arts Center parking Lot C and enter through the main PAC entrance. All proceeds will go to the Warsaw Band Boosters.
