Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accident:
Wednesday, Feb. 19, 8:16 a.m. East 500 North, North Webster. Driver: Barry D. Bruner, 25, East Armstrong Road, Leesburg. Bruner lost control of his vehicle and slid into a NIPSCO utility pole. Damages: up to $10,000
Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Wednesday, Feb. 19, 3:15 p.m. East Winona Avenue and South Indiana Street. Drivers: David Dotson, 54, South State Road 13, Pierceton; and Betty A. Voges, 63, Rivercrest Drive, Warsaw. Dotson was traveling southbound on Indiana Street when he proceeded through the Winona Avenue intersection and struck Voges vehicle. Damages: up to $5,000
Wednesday, Feb. 19, 12:33 p.m. East Fort Wayne Street and North Lindberg Street. Drivers: Larry R. Jefferies, 74, West 550 South, Claypool; and Veronica L. Applegate, 50, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Jefferies was traveling north on Lindberg Street when he proceeded through a stop sign and struck Applegate’s vehicle. Sue Jefferies, a passenger in Jefferies vehicle, complained of pain to her arm but signed off on medical attention. Applegate was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for complaints of neck pain. Damages: up to $10,000
Winona Lake Police Department
Officers of the Winona Lake Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Thursday, Feb. 20, 8:11 a.m. Wooster Road. Drivers: Chad E. Kreider, 17, Wooster Road, Winona Lake; and Jessica R. Strohl, 23, 13th Street, Winona Lake. Kreider pulled in front of Strohl while attempting to leave a driveway. Both individuals signed off on medical attention. Damages: up to $10,000
Wednesday, Feb. 19, 3:35 p.m. Kings Highway and Maple Street. Drivers: Brandi L. Byrer, 19, East Camden Drive, Warsaw; and Christina M. Gross, 28, Oak Brook Place, Warsaw. Byrer was southbound on Kings Highway when she rear-ended Gross’s vehicle. Gross complained of back pains but signed off on medical attention. Damages: up to $5,000
Milford Police Department
Officers of the Milford Police Department recently investigated the following accident:
Thursday, Feb. 19, 7:28 a.m. North SR 15 and West First Street. Driver: Jacob T. Borntreger, 25, East Indiana Ave., Nappanee. Borntreger was northbound on SR 15 when he hit black ice and struck a tree. Damages: up to $5,000
