Warsaw Community School Corporation Superintendent Dr. Craig Hintz announced that the last student day currently on schedule is Monday, June 2.

According to Hintz, the school corporation filed for the one eligible waived snow day from the IDOE. However, since the filing, an additional 6 days have been cancelled. Hintz noted that 3 days were built into the school calendar leaving the school corporation with 2 days to be tacked onto the end of the school calendar. Current built in make up days include Monday, March 17; Monday, April 21; and Friday, May 2 (view calendar here).

Hintz noted it is possible that the state could waive further snow make up days however, more information is currently pending with the Indiana Department of Education regarding make up days that resulted during the county-wide state of emergency.
