Myrna R. Stout
Myrna R. Stout, 72, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 4:02 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, in her daughter’s Warsaw home.
Born June 5, 1941, in Muncie, Ind., to Merrill and Norma (Watson) Richman, she was a 1960 graduate of Madison Heights High School in Anderson, Ind. She also was a graduate of Apex Beauty School in Anderson and would spend 54 years as a licensed beautician. On March 16, 1962, she and Farrell ‘Butch’ Stout were married in Anderson and moved to Warsaw in May 2011 from Yorktown, Ind.
Myrna was a seamstress. She enjoyed woodworking and was an artisan in stained glass. She also enjoyed her cats, Nascar, listening to country music and watching the Colts play football. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Myrna is survived by her husband; two daughters: Lorrie Stout and Deb Meyer, both of Warsaw; a son: Dennis Stout, Brownsburg, Ind.; a brother-in-law: Jim (Nikki) Richman, Pendleton, Ind.; five granddaughters: Ashley (Chris) VanDurmen, Warsaw; Megan Gunter, Warsaw; Danielle Meyer, Stow, Ohio; Alison (Justin) Reynolds, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Emily (Chris) Janda, Greenfield, Ind.; two great-grandsons: Jacoby and Silas; two great-granddaughters: Mary Jane and Eden; as well as nieces and nephews.
Myrna was preceded in death by her mother; father; and brother: Earl Wayne Richman.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. A celebration of life will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home. Pastor David Cripe of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, Warsaw, will officiate.
