Individuals for both parties continue to file their candidacy for various county office seats. The filing deadline is noon, Feb. 7, with no filing as of yet for the position of judge for Kosciusko Superior Court 2 or Syracuse Town Council District 2

Goon, Prairie, (incumbent); Joshua Spangle, Monroe, (incumbent); Aime Hoffman, Seward; Dean Rhodes, Washington, (incumbent); Tracy Moyer, Harrison, (incumbent); Jerry Kammerer, Plain, (incumbent); Steve Ward, Tippecanoe, (incumbent) and Helen I. Brown, Clay, (incumbent).

Filing for township advisory board members are: Joe R. Mooney, Etna, (incumbent); Robert J. Bishop, Wayne, (incumbent).

Vickie Marquart, filed her candidacy for Van Buren Township Advisory Board and is the lone Democrat who has filed any candidacy. She is an incumbent for the office.

No filings have been recorded for Kosciusko Superior Court II Judge, although Tyler S. Haines of Leesburg has announced his candidacy. No candidates have filed for District 2 for Syracuse Town Council.

Individuals are also reminded that voter registration for the May 6 primary closes on April 7 with absentee voting beginning on April 8.
