Technology, Assessment Event At Syracuse Elementary
On Thursday, Jan. 23, Syracuse Elementary School, 502 W. Brooklyn St., is sponsoring a Technology and Assessment Information Night from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for community members, parents and students.
At 5:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., there will be short question and answer sessions about the assessments for students at the elementary level, including ISTEP+, IREAD 3 and NWEA. This is a good time for parents to learn more about these assessments and what they can do to help their children be successful on the upcoming assessments.
The evening is also an opportunity to check out the technology used at the elementary level. Technology will be showcased in various rooms throughout the evening and families and community members can see how it is utilized.
This event is being sponsored by the Syracuse Elementary Title One program. Each child in attendance will receive a free book and all in attendance will have their names entered into a drawing for an iTunes or Amazon gift card.
