Lovie Mathias, 88, passed away at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, Ind.

Born in Fulton County on April 3, 1925, Lovie Aletha Bowen was the daughter of Edson and Lottie Bryant Bowen.

She is survived by two nieces: Judy (Ed) Robinson, Bonham, Texas; and Sharon (Tom) Fites, Akron, Ind.; two nephews: Leroy (Iva) Bowen, Greentown, Ind.; Allen Teghtmeyer, Florence, Ariz.; and a half brother: Nelson Bowen, Cleveland, Ohio.

Pastor Wayne Balmer will officiate. She will be laid to eternal rest in the Omega Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Good Family Funeral Home in Rochester, Ind.
