WINONA LAKE – Grace College junior Allison Kauffman was named the Crossroads League Player of the Week for her efforts at the Roosevelt Tournament.

Kauffman averaged 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game against stiff competition for the Lady Lancers. She recorded 16 points and nine rebounds against No. 11 Roosevelt. For the week Kauffman shot 64 percent from the floor and 71 percent from the foul line.

So far during the 2013-14 season, Kauffman leads the Crossroads League with six double-doubles. She ranks third in the CL with 8.5 rebounds per game and 10th in scoring at 14.8 ppg.

The Lady Lancers will host one of their biggest games of the season on Saturday against rival Bethel at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center. Grace’s women’s team will play Bethel at 1 p.m. on Saturday, and the men’s rivalry game will follow.
