Dennis and Barbara Johnson of Etna Green, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 21. They were married in 1963 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. Pastor Reno Frobenius performed the ceremony.

The Johnsons have three children: Jennifer McCloughan, Columbia City; Kristen Johnson, Stockton Springs, Maine; and Chad (Julie) Johnson, Bloomington. They also have seven grandchildren.

Dennis worked as a teacher and farmer and Barbara was a teacher as well. They attend Walnut Creek United Methodist Church. They marked the anniversary with a family dinner Dec. 15, at Biaggis in Fort Wayne.
