Multiple Christmas Events At Honeywell
WABASH – A whirlwind week of Christmas music comes to the Honeywell Center, kicking off Tuesday, Dec. 17, with John Tesh and his Big Band Orchestra. Following Tesh will be Fort Wayne Phil Holiday Pops, Oak Ridge Boys: Christmas Time’s a Comin’ (sold out), and the Mark Schultz: Full Band Holiday Show.
Majic 95.1 WAJI welcomes John Tesh and his Big Band Orchestra 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when they swing into town. Have yourself a merry little Christmas with a cadre of musicians performing big-band style tunes, as well as Tesh’s signature piano solos. Featured songs include “Let It Snow,” “It Wouldn’t Be Christmas Without You,” “Sleigh Bells” and many more holiday classics done “swing-style” in this family-friendly performance. With three gold albums, two Grammy nominations, and host of the nationally-syndicated “John Tesh Radio Show,” the multi-faceted entertainer is known worldwide as a respected figure in the entertainment industry. Everyone’s favorite holiday event Fort Wayne Phil Holiday Pops arrives 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, sponsored by First Farmers Bank & Trust. Each year, the Fort Wayne Philharmonic is proud to bring one of the area’s greatest winter traditions, Holiday Pops. Sameer Patel, the Phil’s assistant conductor, will lead the orchestra through Christmas standards with a few surprises along the way! All tickets are $15.
WWKI welcomes the sold out Oak Ridge Boys: Christmas Time’s A Comin’ holiday event, sponsored by Ford Meter Box Co. Inc., to the Honeywell Center stage 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19. The iconic group’s Christmas tour has become one of the most loved and popular performances during the holiday season.
WBCL welcomes Mark Schultz’s Full Band Holiday Show, sponsored by Halderman Farm Management Service, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21. Schultz is set to bring Christmas joy to Wabash with his new holiday tour, filled with uplifting songs from latest album, “All Things Possible,” as well as inspiring Christmas classics. Schultz, who has released nine albums, is a Dove Award winner best-known for his Contemporary Christian music hits, including “He’s My Son,” “He Will Carry Me,” “Everything To Me,” and “I Have Been There.” Schultz will perform with his full band for an evening of holiday celebration.
