Freshman Aly Reiff led the way to victory Friday night for the Whitko girls basketball team.

Reiff tossed in 21 points as the Wildcats topped Huntington North 57-51 in non-conference action in South Whitley.

Senior Kelly Reiff had 13 points as Whitko improved to 3-1 on the season.

Sophomore Jennifer Reiff scored 10 points and senior Jordan Hall added nine for the winners.

Huntington North drops to 2-1 on the season.

Whitko plays at Warsaw Friday night.

Marquette Rallies To Clip Cougars

Host Michigan City Marquette rallied from a big early deficit to defeat Lakeland Christian Academy 44-41 Friday night.

LCA led 12-0 after the opening period before the Blazers took a 21-19 halftime lead.

Rachel Sand scored a game-high 14 points to lead LCA, now 2-2.

Hannah Delp netted 12 points, Hannah Remington 10 and Morgan Holsclaw four four the Cougars.

Daria Kincaid scored 12 points and Rosie Wall 11 for Marquette, now 2-2.

LCA hosts Bethany Christian Monday night.
