Lucile Emma Lewis
Lucile Emma Lewis, 101, of Akron, Ind., passed away at 2:58 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 21, at Life Care Center of Rochester, Ind.
On April 28, 1912, Lucile was born in Athens, Ind., to Samuel Francis and Stella Ann Feece Nicodemus. Lucile and Raymond Harold Lewis were married on March 18, 1930.
She is survived by her daughter: Betty (Jack) Holloway, Kewanna, Ind.; her daughter-in-law: Annie Lewis, Perrysburg, Ind.; her son-in-law: Larry Kay Riner, Etna Green, Ind.; nine grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter: Francis Riner; a son: Harold Lewis; two sisters: Louise Nicodemus and Grace Edgar; and four brothers: Max, Bob, Ralph and Peter Nicodemus.
Pastor Terry Canfield will officiate services. Interment will be in the Athens Hoover Cemetery.
Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W 18th St. Rochester. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Canfield officiating. Interment will be in the Athens Hoover Cemetery.
