Miller Named Player Of The Week
WINONA LAKE – Following an outstanding week of action for Greg Miller, the senior forward was named the Crossroads League Player of the Week on Monday.
Miller averaged 30 points and 13 rebounds per game last week for No. 16 Grace. He set a career-high with 43 points and 21 rebounds in a 107-94 victory over IU-East, making 15-of-21 from the floor. Miller’s 43 points has only been topped once by a Crossroads League player over the past decade.
For the week, Miller connected on 50 percent of his shots from the 3-point line, 90 percent from the free throw line and 69 percent from the field. For the season, Miller ranks in the top 20 in the nation for points (23.3 ppg), rebounds (11.0 rpg) and blocks (1.8 bpg).
The Lancers (5-1) enjoy a week of rest from competition before kicking off the Crossroads League season at Taylor on Nov. 26. Grace is currently the second-highest scoring team in NAIA Division II at 100.7 ppg.
