Urgent Care Center Coming To Warsaw
The first resident of a new commercial subdivision approved for Warsaw will be an urgent care facility. The Warsaw Building and Planning Department confirmed that The Faigus Group out of Highland Park, Ill., is the owner of the facility, which will be located at 2680 Escalade Way, Warsaw.
In September, the Warsaw Plan Commission approved the preliminary plat for what will be known as Escalade Park at the intersection of North Detroit Street (SR 15) and CR 300 North. According to the plans, the only access to the subdivision will be on CR 300 North immediately across from the eastern entrance to Kohl’s. The subdivision includes 1.02 acres of land currently owned by the Petro family.
The urgent care facility will be 4,250 square feet and the anticipated completion date is March 2014. Midland Construction, also of Illinois, is the contractor for the project.
The city planners also say that Panda Express should be opening for business this week. The Asian-inspired cuisine casual restaurant is located in front of Meijer along Lake City Highway.
