Wayne Teeple and the former Gwendolyn Kreider recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. They were married Nov. 7, 1948, at New Salem Church of the Brethren by the bride’s father, Reverend Howard Kreider. Both worked at Peoples State Bank in Leesburg, where Wayne retired from after 37 years.

They are the parents of Pamela (Jeffry) Carroll, Warsaw, and pastor Jack (Pati) Teeple, Hicksville, Ohio. They are also the grandparents of six (plus four spouses) and great-grandparents of eight.

The couple celebrated with a family dinner, but would enjoy receiving cards to mark the occasion at 277 Grace Village Dr., Winona Lake, IN 46590.
