State Farm Grant Recognized Education Efforts
State Farm of Northern Indiana provided a grant of $5,000 to KC-Ed to recognize their exemplary dropout prevention efforts in Kosciusko County.
In three years, KC-Ed’s support of graduation coaches at Tippecanoe Valley, Warsaw and Wawasee schools have supported and mentored 143 students to graduation who might have otherwise dropped out. Without the support of State Farm, Kosciusko Community Foundation, United Way of Kosciusko County, area businesses, banks and community members, this would not have been possible.
The funds will be used to support graduation coaches in Kosciusko County. Graduation Coaches promote graduation, one relationship at a time by mentoring students at risk for dropping out of school at Tippecanoe Valley, Warsaw, Wawasee & Whitko Community Schools.
