North Webster Community Center Heart of the Community Charity Auction and Raffle will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.

The event, which is a benefit for the community center, has taken on a momentum of its own by becoming one of the best attended happenings in the area.

A ticket entitles the holder to admittance, a dinner catered by the Sleepy Owl, a cash bar and an opportunity to bid on silent and live auction items. The ticket is also the entry for the holder to win the choice of a car, a pontoon, a watercraft, a UTV, a snowmobile or a camper and $1,000.

Tickets are for sale at various locations in North Webster and Syracuse or at the door the evening of the auction.
