A community-wide prayer service is scheduled for Sunday in the Wawasee High School auditorium as a time for everyone to come together and pray for the needs of students, teachers, administrators and the people of the community.

Beginning at 6 p.m. Sept. 22, the prayer service will include times of group prayer by students, teachers and pastors up front on the stage area. Each prayer time will be an opportunity for a few from each group to lead a short prayer. Also, after the organized “service” portion of the evening, participants will be invited to receive prayer and also be invited to have individual prayer time while walking some of the halls.

The event is being sponsored by the Syracuse Wawasee Ministerial Association.
