Mary M. Steele, 59, of Ligonier, Ind., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013.

She was born on Feb. 14, 1954, to Junis T. and Helen (Brickey) Steele in Norton, Va.

Ms. Steele was a member of the Apostolic Church in Ligonier and enjoyed cross word puzzles and playing games on the computer. She was an avid Michigan and Cubs fan. Family was important to Mary and she enjoyed her nieces and nephews.

She is survived four brothers: Glen (Flo) Steele, Ligonier; Gary (Karla) Steele, Kimmell, Ind.; Randy Steele, Ligonier; Kevin (Cindy Staton) Steele, Albion, Ind.; one sister-in-law: Rita Steele, Kimmell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Thomas; a great-niece: Leah; and one sister-in-law: Lisa.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4 and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway S., Ligonier. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday Sept. 5, at the funeral home with Pastor Joseph Brickey officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier.
