Carol Ann DeVaul, 66, of Beaver Dam Lake in Claypool, Ind., passed away at 3:05 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at Grace Village Health Care in Winona Lake, Ind.

She was born June 8, 1947, in New Berlin, N.Y., to Elizabeth Jane (Hartman) and Clifton Maxwell Palmer Sr.

She worked as a hostess in the cafeteria at Edgewood Middle School in Warsaw, Ind., for 12 years, and also worked in medical billing in Syracuse, N.Y. She attended Pleasant View Bible Church of Warsaw.

She is survived by her son: Todd Alan DeVaul, Orlando, Fla.; and her brother: Clifton (Rhoda) Palmer, Warsaw.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at Pleasant View Bible Church in the Fellowship Room at the west entrance, 2782 W. 200 N., Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Michael Hontz. Burial will be at a later date at St. Andrews Cemetery in New Berlin, N.Y.
