Milford Fire Department was called out at 4 a.m. this morning to the home of Rodney Miller, West CR 900 North, when a pole barn on his property caught fire.

Fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, assistance with tankers was called for from Leesburg and Nappanee fire departments. According to Milford Fire Chief Brian Haines the structure was a total loss as well as its contents, a truck and lawn mower.

The cause is undetermined.
